House #1
We nicknamed it "The W Hotel" because everything was modern and sleek.

Dining Room/Kitchen View
Pros:
- Very Modern and included furnishings
- 3 Bedrooms/2 bathroom
- 2 garage
- Lots of Storage and balconies
- On a bike route that is a 5 minute bike ride into the main Piazza.
- View of vineyards from all windows
- Not considered "downtown"
- Not on bus line
- Not the most convenient location for walking places
- Design doesn't exactly match our current furniture
We nicknamed it "The Landmark" because the building was built in 1540 by Palladio and is on tours because it is one of the first palaces built by Palladio in Vicenza.

Exterior View of #2
Pros:
- Great historical building and history (was bombed in WW2! Built in 1540!)
- Amazing views from the balconies and windows of Monte Berico
- Large Kitchen and Master Bedroom
- Walk in Closet
- Located downtown within walking distance of everything (5 minutes to main square)
- Very authentic and traditional Italian feel
- Technically it is only a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom (but the study could be a third if you get creative)
- We would be the only tenants (other than a family member of the landlord) because the bottom 2 floors are used as a private office
- No garage. Just one parking spot and one bicycle spot.
- Only 2 A/C units in apartment
House #3
Nicknamed "Justin's Place" because one of the guys in Jon's office (Justin) was moving out the week we arrived. He loved his apartment so much he encouraged us to come see it as an option.

Window View from Guest Room of #3
Pros:
- Huge living room
- The prettiest original mosaic floors I have ever seen
- Updated bathrooms
- Once again, amazing views from the balconies
- 6 minute walk to the main piazza
- Lots of A/C units
- Technically not on the "good" side of town, although everywhere is safe here
- Third floor/No elevator
- Landlord doesn't like dogs
- Technically only 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom but once again if you turn the study into a room you have a 3 bedroom

Hmmmm. I'm guessing the second one.
Choice #2- "the Landmark"
1. Walk-in closet
2. Large kitchen and Master
Only tenants is a "con"?
They are all beautiful!
Which one??
Hmmm...this is a tough decision! I'm thinking #2 (although the A/C situation would be a deal-breaker for me.) But the building and location are too cool. I think the third location would be good because you have someone you know who recommends it, and the A/C situation is good. But a landlady who doesn't like dogs sounds scary to me.
#3 is what Sara chose because:
1. AC,AC,AC. Sara hates being hot.
2. Parking space for her car. Sara cherishes her car.
3. Neighbors. Sara sparkles on the social scene.
4. UPDATED bathrooms. Sara believes good hygiene is honorable.
5. Two flights of stairs. Sara pigs out on pasta.
Besides, #2 has got to be haunted.
Jessica is going with TWO!! Jeremiah says no way and is going with 1 and 3...Wait Jessica wont allow me to choose two.
I say ONE since Jon likes Modern crap and I love the idea of a bigger garage....hmmm but THREE kicks butt too if the Worm can sneak in and out freely. And my final decision is.....THREE!!!
Love this show and cant wait til the commercials are over and we get to hear your decision!!!!!
Obviously it's number 1.
Being the only tenant in number 2 will greatly increase the odds that you are the guest that gets stabbed in the shower by the "family member of the landlord" (think Bates Motel)
Up and down two flights of stairs everytime you go somewhere for choice 3.. I think not..
Which leaves number 1.. the other giveaway was being surrounded by vineyards.. Sara surrounded by wine..
PS. relative to your choice number 2, what's so special about being bombed in WW II? I was "bombed" for most of the Vietnam war.
I'm filing a HHI protest! Some people were privy to inside information and already knew the answer...Boo! Hiss!
